Length markings The length marking, which cannot be calibrated, is an aid, e.g. for easy material allowance determination or for determination of the length remaining on the drum. Deviation of the line length shown by the marking is up to 1%. Incomplete length markings or length markings missing on sections, deviations of the cable length shown by the length marking do not substantiate any legal obligation whatsoever. Only use calibrated measurement devices to determine line length.
